The Perth International Burlesque Festival will go on tour with International guests Missy Fatale, Billie Rae and Dixie Ramone in shows hosted by Fanny La Rue and including performances by festival directors and Sugar Blue Burlesque Artistes Coco Poppin and A'dora Derriere. The tour will be from 29th May-2nd June and will be stopping in Mandurah, Busselton and Albany.

Workshops in Albany will be held on Saturday 2nd June. Check out more details about Albany workshops here!

The Perth International Burlesque Festival is giving you the opportunity to learn from some of the stars of the festival.

The Workshops will be held on Wednesday 23rd May 2012 at the Bakery in Northbridge and also on Saturday 26th May 2012 at Kings St Art Centre in Perth.

The Perth International Burlesque Festival tickets are officially on sale. Early bird discounted tickets will finish on the 15th March 2012. This will give you a $5 discount on all show tickets, excluding the Festival Pass and The Festival Party on Friday 25th May at the Bakery.

2012 Performers Announced!

The Spectacular line up for the 2012 Perth International Burlesque Festival has now been announced. Headlining the Internationals is Billie Rae (UK,) Missy Fatale (UK) and Miss La Vida (NZ). Australian headliners include Tasia (Sydney), Danica Lee (Sydney), Miss Nic (Melbourne) and Becky Lou (Melbourne). Check out all 40 festival performers on the Performer page.

With performer applications closed, the excitement begins! We are now deciding on who will be the artistes for the First Annual Perth International Burlesque Festival.

Applications came in from Europe, USA and the eastern states of Australia as well our fabulous local performers.

Full details of the festival shows and events, performer line-up and tickets will be available on the 1st March 2012.

In the meantime, stay tuned as we may slip you a few clues into what we have in stall for you!

If you are interested in coming to Perth for the Perth Burlesque festival in 2012, why not apply to perform in the Australian Burlesque Festival as well.

Dates for the festival are between 7th - 23rd June, holding shows in Melbourne, Hobart, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra & Sydney.

Applications for the 2012 Australian Burlesque Festival are now open! They have expanded to more cities with more shows and more opportunities than ever...
They are also looking for local and international performers to join them in the biggest celebration of tease in Australia!

Perth International Burlesque Festival 2012 Announced!

After much anticipation and preparation, we are very pleased and excited to announce the first annual Perth International Burlesque Festival! Preceding the Australian Burlesque Festivalthe Perth International Burlesque Festival will run from the 24^th to the 27^th of May, 2012, and will feature 4 days of shows, late-night parties,markets, workshops, and other exciting events to be announced soon – watch this space!

Presented by Sugar Blue Burlesque, the festival is open to international, interstate, and local performers, and aims to both celebrate the local Burlesque community and facilitate creative links with international and interstate artists. Applications are open to all male and female Burlesque, variety, cabaret and circus artistes, and are due on the 13^th of January, 2012. All performers are encouraged to apply – we would love to hear from all of you! More information on applications can be found on the Performers page.
