Workshop Description

Not your average “Business of Burlesque” course…Becoming a full-time burlesque performer is difficult and not something we all necessarily want! BUT that doesn’t mean you can’t be a part-time performer or hobbyist with a dedicated, professional, and ethical attitude.

In this workshop and lecture learn skills that can be applied at home and abroad, and can be applied to your performance CV in general as well as questions about specific acts you might want to develop or refine. We will predominantly work through the AEIOUs of a well-rounded and grounded showgirl/boy/person.

A - aesthetic
E - etiquette
I - improvisation
O - originality
U - upskill

What to bring/wear:

Pen and paper, comfortable clothes and socks

Restrictions: Workshop can be attended by men and women, over the age of 18yrs.
