The Perth International Burlesque Festival is an annual Burlesque event held in Perth, Western Australia. The festival will feature 4 days of shows, late-night parties, markets, workshops, and other Burlesque related activities and entertainment in Perth and also will include a regional tour to Mandurah, Bunbury and Albany.
Immediately following the Australian Burlesque Festival, the Perth International Burlesque Festival brings world-class international, interstate and local Burlesque acts to the Perth audience. A rare experience for the world’s most isolated capital city, the festival affords show go-ers the opportunity to experience Burlesque performance in styles that vary greatly and fantastically across nations, scenes, and personalities, and to support and engage with the local Burlesque scene in the process.
Presented by Sugar Blue Burlesque, the Perth International Burlesque Festival aims to both celebrate the local Burlesque community and facilitate creative links with international and interstate artists. The festival is supportive of the Perth Burlesque community as a whole, and is committed to enabling useful and inspiring ways for local performers to develop, open doors, and realise their uniqueness as artistes on the international scene.
Through performance, workshops, and social networking opportunities, the festival endeavours to provide an exciting event that is of personal and professional value for both local and touring artistes.
Above all, we look forward to presenting festival-goers with 2 weeks of unforgettable days of titillating, mind-boggling, spectacular entertainment!

It has been a great way to encourage international performers to come to Perth shores!
