With performer applications closed, the excitement begins! We are now deciding on who will be the artistes for the First Annual Perth International Burlesque Festival.
Applications came in from Europe, USA and the eastern states of Australia as well our fabulous local performers.
Full details of the festival shows and events, performer line-up and tickets will be available on the 1st March 2012.
In the meantime, stay tuned as we may slip you a few clues into what we have in stall for you!

If you are interested in coming to Perth for the Perth Burlesque festival in 2012, why not apply to perform in the Australian Burlesque Festival as well.
Dates for the festival are between 7th - 23rd June, holding shows in Melbourne, Hobart, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra & Sydney.

After much anticipation and preparation, we are very pleased and excited to announce the first annual Perth International Burlesque Festival! Preceding the Australian Burlesque Festivalthe Perth International Burlesque Festival will run from the 24th to the 27th of May, 2012, and will feature 4 days of shows, late-night parties,markets, workshops, and other exciting events to be announced soon – watch this space!
Presented by Sugar Blue Burlesque, the festival is open to international, interstate, and local performers, and aims to both celebrate the local Burlesque community and facilitate creative links with international and interstate artists. Applications are open to all male and female Burlesque, variety, cabaret and circus artistes, and are due on the 13th of January, 2012. All performers are encouraged to apply – we would love to hear from all of you! More information on applications can be found on the Performers page.
